The moon was full, and the stars called to us.
Rumbling waves crashed on the sand.
Warm, salty air enveloped me in safety.
Your arms around me,
Your kisses, the taste of you,
Rolling across my tongue like a fine, French champagne.
Bodies blending together,
Melting into one another,
Like the sun melts into the sea.
I remember you:
Your look, your love, your trust in me –
Your undying loyalty.
