My 44th Birthday

I attained the ripe old age of 44 yesterday. I truly had no intention of writing a blog post about this, but my Facebook memories served ...

Service Menu

I offer the following styles of massage. Prices are for the length of time, not the style. Due to the multiple locations, the prices and services available may vary. We are prompt and strive to begin promptly on time. If you arrive early, and it is possible, you will be seen immediately. If you arrive after your normal appointment time, your appointment will end at the scheduled time.

How much time should you book?

  • A 30 min massage is excellent for a spot treatment like a muscle injury, though there is not time for a full body massage. An hour massage is perfect for most massage sessions, and will include a full body massage, though there may not time intensive work. If you want a comprehensive massage to address chronic issues like a frozen shoulder, sciatica, lymphedema, etc, then a 90 min or two hour massage may be advised.

Very Deep Tissue Massage, including Trigger Point Release and Stretching. Perfect for neck and back pain, as well as pinched nerves or restricted movement. This technique uses very little lotion, and is typically focused on a particular area of the body. It can be offered as a full body massage, but you may find more benefit to focus the treatment. I do not recommend longer than a one hour treatment, due to the intense nature of the massage. You may experience soreness or tenderness after your massage, but that will disappear after a day or so.

Reiki is, very simply, the channeling of Universal energy by a Reiki practitioner, through your body to effect personal healing. During a Reiki session, you will lie on the table, fully clothed and facing up. You may cover yourself with a blanket for your comfort. You will be directed to close your eyes and relax, while doing a mental "check in" with your body. The practitioner may utilize a pendulum and healing stones to energize your chakra centers. During the Reiki healing session the practitioner may place hands lightly on different parts of your body. Some Reiki practitioners will follow a predetermined sequence of hand placements, allowing their hands to rest on each body placement for 2 to 5 minutes before moving on to the next.
